Troubleshooting:
Step 1
Firstly, check your IP address using the Command feature. Make sure you are connected to wifi PPUKM-Students.
Go to Start> type 'Command Prompt'> open it and type 'ipconfig/all' and press enter, then it will show you a series of data that you'll find incomprehensible haha but actually it's giving you information about whether your connections are in good condition or not. Find the information with title "Wireless LAN Adapter Wireless Network Connection" because now we want to know if there's something wrong with the wireless adapter. For Windows 8, just search Command Prompt and you will find it.
Above is example from my computer, warning: don't copy my IP address, You'll go to hell if you do.
For wifi PPUKM-Students, you should have the same information as I do.
Important info you must have:
IP address (IPv4)..: 172.33.0.** (I put * because any value can be written here)
Subnet mask.........: 255.255.254.0
Default gateway...: 172.33.1.1
DNS servers.........: 202.186.179.10
8.8.8.8
All these values are default for Wifi PPUKM-Students except for the IP address- every device must have different IP address, no one should have the same address. If your command results showing the same info, then continue to step 2.
Step 2
Open Network and Sharing Center. Go to Control Panel> Network and Internet > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings > Right-click on "Wireless Network Connection" and click Properties> double-click on "Internet Protocol version 4" and fill in the values like in step 1 or you can just refer to below.
After filling in the values, click OK to both properties window. Now disable " Wireless Network Connection" and wait 10 seconds, and enable it. Connect to wifi PPUKM-Students.
Step 3
Open your browser (Safari, Mozilla, Chrome etc) and try to open Google. I insist you to try opening Google because 8.8.8.8 is Google's default DNS so, success in opening Google means success in your troubleshooting.
That's all for now. TQ
